The 2023 Clary Lake Association Annual Meeting is being held this coming Saturday, September 2nd at 2:00 PM at the Clary Lake dam. That’s less than 1 week away! As in past years, we will setup some awning tents to provide shade and seating will be provided as well but as usual, it never hurts to bring a folding chair or two if you have them. At this time while it’s still a ways off, the weather forecast for next weekend is looking good. That said, the rain date will be the next day, Sunday September 3rd, same time, same place. We will have our traditional potluck supper after the Meeting so bring your favorite salad, entree, casserole, side dish, or what have you and of course, bring an appetite! Since previous pot luck suppers have been heavy on the salads, this year (like last year) we’re going to set up a grill and turn out some hot dogs, hamburgers, and veggie burgers too.
This year’s meeting agenda includes the election of all four officers and a couple of directors and a water quality update. The main program will be a presentation on LakeSmart and we’ll be presenting our first LakeSmart award. The 2023 Raffle drawing to benefit our Dam Maintenance and Repair Fund will be held at the end of the Meeting. This is the last week you can buy tickets! Tickets will also be sold at the meeting up until the actual drawing. You can buy them online via Paypal here:
Annual dues are (still only!) $25 per Member which entitles you to one vote at the meeting; additional family members if they wish can also pay dues and be counted as voting Members. You can sign up or renew your Membership online via PayPal, and more and more people are opting to do that because of the ease and convenience. if you’re going to join or renew at the Meeting please arrive a little early so you’ll have some time to settle in before the Meeting starts. We’ll have the registration desk set up by 12:30 PM and we will start the Business Meeting at 2:00 PM sharp. And a final reminder! Full Membership in the Association is open to “all persons who support the purpose of the Association as stated in the bylaws and who pay annual dues to the Corporation.”
We hope to see you at the Annual meeting!
